Nuvvu Naaku Nachav (I like you) is a 2001 Telugu romantic comedy film directed by K. Vijaya Bhaskar and written by Trivikram Srinivas. The film revolves around Venky, an unemployed graduate who moves to Hyderabad to find a job and stays at his father's friend's house. There, he meets Nandu, the daughter of his father's friend, who is engaged to Prasad, a software professional from the USA. Venky and Nandu start off with a bitter relationship, but soon become friends and eventually fall in love. However, Venky does not want to ruin the friendship between their families and tries to hide his feelings. Meanwhile, Prasad's family demands more dowry after seeing a photo of Venky and Nandu holding hands. How Venky and Nandu overcome these obstacles and unite forms the rest of the story.
